Frequently Asked Questions
What is life coaching?
Life coaching is a collaborative process designed to help you gain clarity, overcome obstacles, and create meaningful change in your life. A coach helps you identify patterns, shift limiting beliefs, strengthen confidence, and take aligned action toward your goals. Coaching is future-focused and action-oriented, with support, accountability, and personal growth at the center of the process.
What’s the difference between life coaching and therapy?
Therapy often focuses on healing past wounds, diagnosing mental health conditions, and processing emotional or psychological challenges. Coaching focuses more on the present and future, helping you move forward, create change, and reach personal or professional goals. While coaching can be deeply supportive and transformational, it is not a replacement for therapy or mental health treatment.
What happens during a coaching session?
Each session is a personalized conversation centered around you, your goals, and what you’re currently navigating. Together, we explore challenges, thought patterns, habits, emotions, and opportunities for growth. You can expect thoughtful questions, honest reflection, practical tools, mindset shifts, and actionable next steps that help you move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
Do you specialize in a particular type of coaching?
My coaching is rooted in mindset because how you think, perceive, and relate to yourself shapes every area of your life. Health, relationships, career, finances, purpose, self-worth — it all connects back to the same core. I work best with people who know what they want but keep getting in their own way, or who are navigating a big transition and ready to stop living on autopilot. If you’re ready for a real shift, you’re likely in the right place.
How do I know if coaching is right for me?
Coaching is likely a good fit if you feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself, uncertain about your next step, at a crossroads, or craving growth and change. It’s especially helpful for people who want more clarity, confidence, balance, fulfillment, or accountability in their lives. You do not need to have everything figured out before starting, just a willingness to be open, honest, and committed to your growth. The best way to find out is through a complimentary intro session, where we can see if it clicks before you commit to anything.
What is an Energy Leadership Index assessment?
The Energy Leadership Index (ELI) assessment is a research-backed tool that helps identify the mindset, thought patterns, and energetic responses that may be influencing how you experience different areas of your life. It provides insight into how you respond to stress, challenges, relationships, and opportunities, helping uncover patterns that may be holding you back. The assessment can create powerful self-awareness and serve as a solid reference point for our coaching work together. As an ELI Master Practitioner, I’m trained to debrief your results in depth and help you apply them meaningfully to your life and goals.
How long does a typical coaching engagement last?
Most clients work with me consistently over several months, which gives us enough time to move past surface-level goals and into real, lasting change. The length of coaching varies depending on your goals, needs, and the depth of transformation you’re seeking. Some clients benefit from a few focused sessions around a specific challenge, while others prefer ongoing support over several months. Because every person’s needs are different, we’ll talk about what makes sense for you during your intro session.
Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes, all sessions are held virtually, which means we can work together no matter where you are. Most clients find it just as effective as in-person, and a lot more convenient.
What kind of results can I expect from coaching?
Results vary from person to person, but many clients experience greater clarity, confidence, self-awareness, emotional resilience, motivation, and alignment in their lives. Coaching can help you break through limiting patterns, improve relationships, strengthen communication, make empowered decisions, and get you moving toward your goals with intention. Results will depend on what you bring to the process. When you’re ready to do the work, the shifts are real.
